Easter is the holy festivals of the Christians. It is the day that marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the tomb three days after his crucifixion. It is celebrated on the first Sunday coming after the full moon day 21 st March. Julian calendar is used by the orthodox Christians to find out the Easter day. Some parts of the world celebrate this festival for as long as two weeks. The churches are decorated with lights, Easter prayer is sung in the churches to praise the rebirth of Jesus which is followed by the elaborated mass. People get involved in exchanging gifts with their family members, friends and in the charity. It is celebrated with lots of happiness and enthusiasm.
